The third annual Cultural DeCoding programme will be held at The University of Notre Dame Australia (Fremantle) in January next year as an extension for gifted and talented year 11s and 12s with a focus on the humanities.

To those of you who know of teachers who would like to invite some of their students along to this summer programme, please forward this email to them and see attached brochure for more information.

The programme has been very well received and runs from 28th - 31st January, 2014
Each day is from 9.00am - 3.30pm and the total cost is $250 per student (lunches included).

These are sessions on philosophy and other humanities subjects that encourage critical and creative thinking, peer-discussion as well as mini lectures on subjects in order to get a taste of university life. There are many programmes available for science extension but this focus on the humanities is a nice opportunity to tap into the broader scope of a liberal arts education.

Please contact Dr Angela McCarthy on 9433 0214 or angela [dot] mccarthy [at] nd [dot] edu [dot] au if you have any further questions.
